PDG Fruits

We generate wind energy to support Moldova’s sustainable growth.

At PDG Fruct, we believe that the future of agriculture can only be sustainable when we respect nature and invest responsibly in renewable resources. Since 2018, we have diversified our agricultural activities into the energy sector, becoming a green energy producer with a real impact on efficiency and energy security in the Republic of Moldova.

Our Energy Capacities

PDG Fruct operates four privately owned wind power plants located in the villages of Păulești and Nișcani, Călărași District—places where the wind has become our ally on the path toward a green economy.

2018: The first Nordex turbine, with a capacity of 1,3 MW, was installed in Păulești.

2020: Three GE turbines, each with a capacity of 1.5 MW, strategically installed.

Total installed capacity: 6.8 MW
Estimated annual energy generation: over 11,000 MWh/year, sufficient to cover internal energy consumption and contribute to the national grid.

“We are committed to expanding our capacities and developing innovative projects that strengthen the country’s energy security.”

Why do we do this?

Through our investments in renewable energy:

– We reduce the carbon footprint of our entire production and distribution chain.
– We support the energy security of the Republic of Moldova by supplying clean energy to the grid.
– We contribute to a sustainable business model, where our fruits are grown and delivered with respect for the environment.

Innovative spirit, responsible community

We aim to be an example for the entire agricultural community in Moldova. Beyond growing high-quality fruits, we are cultivating a greener future—a circular business model in which locally produced energy supports the local economy.
