We are excited to announce the launch of our new modern line for sorting, grading, and packaging stone fruits, a significant step in expanding our production and export capacities. This initiative is part of our strategy to support local producers and offer the highest quality Moldovan fruits to international markets.

The modern line allows for sorting fruits by size, color, and quality, ensuring product uniformity in accordance with international standards. Additionally, the customized packaging, designed for ease of transport and use, adds value to the fruits intended for final consumers.

In the 2023 season, Moldova stood out as a global leader in plum exports, ranking third worldwide and second in the northern hemisphere, with over 78,000 tons of plums exported, 70% of which were to European Union markets. These achievements were made possible by investments in quality, post-harvest technology, and packaging.

With the help of this new technological line, PDG Fruct strengthens its position as a regional center for the consolidation, sorting, packaging, and export of stone fruits. This development allows us to actively contribute to the increased competitiveness and resilience of Moldova’s horticultural sector.

We are proud to collaborate with trusted partners such as USAID, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, and the Moldova Fruct Association, as we continue to promote Moldovan fruits on international markets and expand the geography of our exports.
